Automation Anywhere to Discuss Leveraging RPA for Business Process Innovation at the Global Sourcing & Cloud Summit

SAN JOSE, CA – Jun 15, 2015

Automation Anywhere, a pacesetting provider of robotic process automation software capable of automating virtually anything will be participating in a panel discussion titled “Transforming Sourcing with Process Automation” at the World BPO/ITO Forum’s Global Sourcing & Cloud Summit, being held in New York City, this week. Representing Automation Anywhere at the event will be Mark Fletcher, VP, Strategic Accounts.

The session will be a continuation of current conversations in the outsourcing community regarding RPA’s role in changing BPO service delivery models, and the value it provides. Joining Fletcher with perspectives on the topic are Dr. Mary Lacity, Curators’ Professor of Information System and an International Business Fellow, University of Missouri, St. Louis, and Andrew Wasser, Associate Dean, School of Information Systems and Management, Carnegie Mellon University.

The Global Sourcing & Cloud Summit aims to “enable buyers and sellers of services to meet each other,” and “encourage experts to share insights.” The event is geared towards C-suite executives from enterprise companies currently utilizing sourcing services or for those considering outsourcing services.

Robotic process automation software performs actions that a person could do on a computer rapidly, sustainably, and without disturbing existing infrastructure.  Recent statistics show that RPA’s impact on the services industry will continue to ramp up, with 40% of all outsourcing contracts being impacted within the next 18 months.

“RPA has the power to alter service delivery models, and it’s already doing so for the majority of BPO providers,” said Doug Bell, VP of Marketing at Automation Anywhere. “This conference is a great opportunity for executives to really dig in and explore strategies for leveraging RPA to innovate on their existing service options, lowering costs, and driving efficiency.”

The “Transforming Sourcing with Process Automation” session will be held Tuesday, June 16, at 11:30 a.m. EDT.
