What is
Tethys'? |
What is 'Tethys'? (pronounced tee'-thus)
|
We envision automation to be as adaptable and ubiquitous as water, available to everyone, in any form that works for them. Tethys is the Greek goddess of all water on earth. Hence the name Tethys.
|

Tethys is also an ocean that existed between the continents of Gondwana and Laurasia. Its remnants today are the Black, Aral, & Caspian Seas. First proposed by the austrian geologist Eduard Suess in 1893, it was named for the sea goddess Tethys.
|
|
Tethys is also the moon of Saturn that was discovered by Giovanni Cassini in 1684. |
