Automation Anywhere, a pacesetting provider of robotic process automation (RPA) software capable of automating virtually anything will be participating in an upcoming “Automation Innovation” event series held by the Institute of Robotic Process Automation (IRPA) in both New York and London beginning today, and then in London on December 8. This year’s theme is “Preparing for 2016- The Year of the Robot”—a topic that has been prevalent in the media as of late, and continues to incite debate and discussion.
The purpose of the event series is to assess the significance of digital labor and how it fits into the overall outsourcing schema, and what’s next as automation service providers innovate on existing products, particularly when it comes to inclusion of cognitive capabilities. IRPA maintains that while 2015 was primarily about educating the public about RPA, many organizations and their BPOs have already embraced the technology and are in a state of readiness to take full advantage of RPA functionality.
Automation Anywhere will be speaking on the panel, “Accelerating Automation — The Road to the App Store” in both cities, with Automation Anywhere CRO and co-founder Ankur Kothari participating in the New York session, and Automation Anywhere VP, Strategic Accounts Mark Fletcher participating in London. With fellow panelists from Ascension, HfS Research, Capgemini, arago, and Alsbridge, Automation Anywhere representatives will dig into the realities of introducing intelligent bots that can utilize APIs to standardize end-to-end process automation on a widespread level to all areas of an organization.
“As we approach the end of 2015, it’s clear that RPA has reached a tipping point,” said Doug Bell, VP, Marketing at Automation Anywhere. “Discussion around RPA is no longer about whether or not to adopt; it’s about how to standardize. We expect that this session, and the event as a whole, will emphasize that idea.”
Today’s New York session takes place at 1:40 p.m. EST in Bohemian National Hall, and the London session takes place December 8, 1:40 p.m. GMT at St. Paul’s. To view the event website, visit http://www.irpanetwork.com/events/.
