We used LoadRunner and WinRunner for automation. It used to take a lot of time to automate test cases and often unreliable. It has speeded up the creation of test cases 10 folds. So any test case we want to automate, we create the test case very quickly on the same day.
One of the several use cases we have automated with it is validating the generation of reports for business process related to kidney dialysis. Reports are generated online and it is a complex procedure we need to automate and validate for the correctness of the data. It used to take 4-5 hours of testing by the testers. With the Image Recognition feature, we have automated the test cases and validation of generating reports and it can be done over the lunch hour by simple click of a button. |
