Test Description

As part of testing, we often need to validate the test results. This example demonstrates how you can perform automated testing & validations.

The following example is recorded on Automation Anywhere Support page http://www.automationanywhere.com/support/openSupportCase.htm to illustrate how you can use Testing Anywhere for automated testing and validation.

Solutions

	Record a test using Web Recorder Start recording a new test by clicking on 'Web Recorder' link Fill up data fields and click on Submit button Extract the data and provide new variable name Check the checkbox ‘Insert checkpoint’ and save the command. 	Edit the test Insert checkpoint command by right click on test editor for each command.

When you run this test, it performs the recorded actions and the execution of checkpoint will verify the test that can be seen in report created at the end.
